Pledge Drive!

Each year, KZUM's largest fundraisers are our
pledge drives, and while our programmers take on much of the
work, we need plenty of off-air support to make the drive run
smoothly.
Pledge Drive volunteers will answer phones, organize
paperwork, and run errands. This is a great way to support
us, particularly if money is tight for you this year.

Dear KZUM Listener,
All of us here at
KZUM are hoping the Luck o' the Irish is with us for
our upcoming Spring Pledge Drive!
We kick-off on
Thursday, March 24th at 6:00 a.m. And we
have set a big goal for this drive to
raise $50,000.00!
As
soon as we raise the $50,000, the pledge drive is
over!
Isn't that exciting! It
could last 3 days or 14 - it's all up to you!
With our federal funding possibly in jeopardy, we really
need our listener's support. Thank you for making the
choice to pledge early and set the pace for a
record-breaking membership drive.
All pledge
donations received now through March 24, 2011 (official
kick-off date) will count towards our fundraising goal of
$50,000.00!!

LOCAL MUSIC
THRIVES IN LINCOLN
Last month, KZUM welcomed back the long running program
Alive in Lincoln. The
show features an interview each week with a Lincoln artist, along
with some recorded and live/in-studio music.
The effort, spearheaded by programmer and board member Ryan
Evans, renews KZUM's goal of showcasing local musicians on

CITY GOVERNMENT CANDIDATES TO BE FEATURED ON
OUR STREET
Our Street, which airs on Monday evenings from 6:00 to
7:00 p.m. is hosting a series of live interviews with Lincoln
city government candidates to discuss important issues
before the Council and Mayor's Office. Guests include,
Mayor Chris Beutler and City Council member, Jon Camp.
