KZUM is ALWAYS looking for fun-loving individuals to
help out with our community events. Our immediate needs are
for ZooFest on July 8th & 9th and the Annual Music & Book
Sale on August 12th &13th.
If you are interested in volunteering or know
someone who would like to share a few hours of their time, please

Pledge Drive our listeners showed their love for KZUM and helped
us achieve our goal of raising $50,000.00!!! A
feat unheard of in KZUM's history.
We know life is hectic and sometimes little reminders are
helpful!

Dear KZUM Listener,
First and foremost THANK YOU to all the
participants, businesses and volunteers who came out and
supported our 2nd Annual KZUM Poker Run! We raised nearly
$5,000.00 to benefit the station and we are thankful to all those
who helped make it happen!

ZOOFEST, July 8-9th
 If you have
never attended this annual event - you are missing out!
This annual block party which takes place in front of the Zoo Bar
on 14th street between 'O' & 'P'
streets in downtown Lincoln is a celebration of music and
community.
This year's block party
celebrates The Zoo
Bar's 38th anniversary!
The Tiguana Gigilos open the event for FAC on July 8th at 5 p.m.
INSIDE the Zoo Bar, followed by The Brad Cordle Band taking the
OUTSIDE stage at 7 p.m.! For complete details

Pranksters on Saturday, July 30th, at Duggan's Pub, 11th
& K streets. KZUM's long time host of
"Strawberry Fields", Hardy Holm will open the show
starting at 8:30 p.m.
This benefit fundraiser is sure to be a great time!
Your $5.00 cover will directly benefit KZUM. Items up for
raffle include:

Is it Time to Declutter?
Do you have vintage LPs, CDs and books in
good condition? If so, we are happy to take them off of
your hands! We are accepting these items for our Annual
Music & Book Sale, scheduled for August 12-13th at the
Unitarian Church, located at 6300 'A'
Street.
Items may be dropped off at 941
'O' Street, Suite 1025 (Terminal Building) Monday-Friday
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please give us a
call ahead of time at 402-474-5086, Ext. 0 to ensure someone is
in the office to greet you.
Special arrangements can be made for pick
