The Women’s Foundation of Lincoln and Lancaster County will host a city-wide Candidates Forum on Monday, April 16, at the Irving Middle School Auditorium, 2745 S 22 St.

The purpose of this event is to introduce voters to candidates who are running in county and state races.  Races will include state legislature, county board of commissioners and county Treasurer as well as Public Service Commission and others.   Candidates from all parties will be introduced and asked to answer questions prepared by the hosting organizations:  the Women’s Foundation of Lincoln and Lancaster Co, the YWCA Lincoln, Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, NAACP Lincoln and Nebraskans Against Gun Violence.

Starting at 5 p.m., candidates will be available to meet attendees followed by the forum which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.   The event is free with parking available.
