The T.L. and Friends of the Drumstick Foundation presents a Free performance of Bluegrass Music to start the holidays off right featuring The McGovern String Band. This performance is free and open to the public. Bring your family and enjoy the foot stomping fun of traditional, acoustic stringed instruments-guitar, banjo and mandoline, The McGovern Stringband is an acoustic americana and bluegrass all string band – featuring the vocals of father & son, Kelly McGovern (guitar) and Brian McGovern (mandolin), bass player and vocalist David Morris and Daren Blythe on 5-string banjo. The Covered Shelter is located south of the main playground at Antelope Park with free parking next door to the shelter. Complimentary hot chocolate and coffee will be available for the first hour. Come for a few songs or come for the whole show, it promises to be a great day for live music.
