Lincoln Calling will celebrate its 15th Anniversary this fall. Since its inception in 2004, the nonprofit festival has brought fans and nationally touring and local acts to multiple downtown stages including The Zoo Bar, Bodega’s Alley, Duffy’s Tavern, The Bourbon Theatre and 1867 Bar.

In 2017, over 100 bands and comedians performed with an estimated attendance of over 8,000 festival-goers, plus an estimated $500,000 economic impact on Lincoln’s.  It also featured the premiere of the Night Market stage; featuring performers, beer garden and workshops on 14th street between O and P streets.

Lincoln Calling is also paying special attention to the need for the visibility performers of the LGBTQ community, performers of color and female performers. Last year’s Lincoln Calling festival was the “most diverse, inclusive and sustainable cultural event,” and the inclusiveness will carry over into the 2018 Festival which plans for 50/50 representation between male and female performers.

Lincoln Calling 2018 is scheduled for September 17th through the 22nd. It is estimated that attendance will increase to between 9,000 and 10,000 festival-goers over last year’s estimated 8,000 attendees.

The first round of performers has been announced and includes the following:
