Shawn James returns to The Bourbon this Sunday with a local Lincoln favorite, Will Hutchinson. The show is all ages and doors open at 7 p.m. with music beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. If you’re feeling fancy, tables will be available for purchase as well.

James hails from the southside of Chicago, growing up on soul music. His music fuses blues, folk and soul in a way that “contrasts dark and light, anger and joy, gritty and authentic.”

James is at the beginning of his tour that will be showcasing his brand new album The Dark & The Light, which was released March 22, 2019. James is a Lincoln favorite and was in Lincoln around this time last year with Evan Bartels.

Hutchinson is a Lincoln based singer-songwriter and if you’re an Americana/folk fan in Lincoln you will want to see his performance. He has released several albums, was a finalist in the international John Lennon Songwriting Contest and has been a full time musician since 2016.

Sunday night’s performance is one not to miss. To get a preview of the artists’ music and stay up to date with them, check out their Facebook (James, Hutchinson) or website (James, Hutchinson).
