School has officially started, fall is nearing and pumpkin spice everything is making its annual debut. But most importantly, it’s almost First Friday! This month has so many things going on that is fun for all ages! From family game night at the Lincoln Children’s Museum to touring freak show at The Bourbon. Check out this list of Friday activities happening around town this week:

International Quilt Study Center & Museum

At 5:30 p.m. Mark Dunn will present “Quilts and Their Stories,” held in conjunction with an exhibition of selected quilts from his collection opening the same day. Dunn is the president and owner of Moda Fabrics. Dunn is committed to preserving the heritage and future of the textile industry.

The museum will also celebrate an exhibition of works created by Lincoln Public Schools Arts & Humanities Focus Program students.
