Racap: 2019 Stransky Park Concert Series

Every year, KZUM and Stransky Park put on a spectacular series of free, weekly concerts on Thursdays. We were lucky to have nice weather almost every single week, this year. Photos: Judah & The Lion | Bourbon Theatre 8.14.19

Nashville-based band, Judah & the Lion, made a stop in Lincoln on their tour for the new album Pep Talks. Judah & the Lion made a name for themselves with their hit "Take It All Back." After being moved from Pinewood Bowl, the show went on at Bourbon Theatre.

KZUM Profile: James Dean

James Dean began his venture into music photography around 2009 with the pairing of a film camera and a house show. And thanks to a friend, he was able to borrow a digital camera on and off in 2012 to shoot more live music. Since then, James Dean has become one of Lincoln's most well-known concert photographers, and has contributed to KZUM on multiple occasions.

Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival celebrates musical roots, diversity and community all week long

This will be the second year of the Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival which aims to create transformative musical performances reflective of the strong, musical roots, diversity, community and history in Nebraska and especially in Lincoln. How it seeks to do this is by gathering international and local musicians for concerts of innovative programming from the classical repertoire and folk traditions from all over the globe that have found their home in Lincoln, Nebraska.
