The Lincoln Civic Orchestra will present the final concert of their 2024-2025 season, celebrating a theme of “Cinematic Adventures”, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 4:00pm. Held in the Fine Arts Building at Nebraska Wesleyan University, 50th and Huntington Ave., this is an all-ages, open to the public, symphonic concert. The orchestra will be performing movement four of Ottorino Respighi’s “Pines Of Rome”, “The Pines of the Appian Way”. Additionally presented on the program will be arrangements of soundtracks from the silver screen, including Hanz Zimmer’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, Michael Kamen’s “Band of Brothers”, John Williams’ “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, Danny Elfman’s “Music from Spider-man”, James Horner’s “Music from Apollo 13”, and Stephen Schwartz’s “Highlights from Wicked”.
