On Friday, November 15: 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Saturday, November 16: 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Lincoln Artists’ Guild will co-sponsor the estate sale of Taylor Wilson’s art collection. Taylor, a past member of LAG, accrued a large selection of his artwork for sale at this event. The Taylor Wilson Estate is donating all proceeds from sales of his handmade artwork to the Lincoln Artists’ Guild. The artwork includes jewelry, ceramic mugs with animal images, screen-printed pillow covers, paintings, drawings, prints of original works, greeting cards of original works, sculptures, and original screen print t-shirts of animals. Visit @TaylorWilsonDesigns on Facebook to view some of his artwork. All of Taylor’s remaining art equipment, supplies, and personal household items will also be for sale at this event with proceeds going to his estate. These numerous items are in new or like-new condition.
Lincoln Artists’ Guild is a non-profit organization co-hosting this community art event and collecting revenue to host workshops for guild members. LAG members will also host a “Pop Up Shop” for Guild members to sell their art in addition to prints, cards, and holiday art items. Proceeds of member art will go to each artist. Memberships to the Lincoln Artists’ Guild will also be available for purchase. LAG membership includes benefits and opportunities for visual artists of all levels, including participation in monthly educational programs and competitive shows, art exhibitions, and Association of Nebraska Art Clubs, Inc. (ANAC) membership.
