The Lincoln Civic Orchestra will present the second concert of their 2024-2025 season on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 4:00pm in the Fine Arts Building at Nebraska Wesleyan, 50th and Huntington Ave. Celebrating a theme of “Vive la France”, this all-ages, open to the public, symphonic concert features Nebraska Wesleyan University’s solo competition winner, Addison Duensing, playing Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Concerto in E Major, BWV 1042, I. Allegro”. The orchestra will also be performing Jacques Offenbach’s “Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld”, “Music from Ratatouille” by Michael Giacchino and arranged by Stephen Bulla, “L’Arlésienne Suite No.2, IV. Farandole” by Georges Bizet, and Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero”.
