Each month Writers in Conversation features one established and one emerging writer to talk about the joys and travails of their writing journeys. The conversation is then opened to the audience for a lively discussion of all things literary. The evening is sure to please and education, not to mention inspire!
Creative writing professor Nick Salestrom moderates the conversation followed by readings from the guest writers. For this month’s conversation, we welcome Christopher McLucas, an Omaha native who wants to build and uplift communities with creative writing. He has written creative fiction for 15 years, publishing 3 anthologies, a children’s book, and a sci-fi novel. Our aspiring author guest is Ethan Dudney, currently in high school attending the Arts and Humanities focus program. He published 3 of his works in the UNL, YWC online anthology, and 2 additional pieces in the A&H literary journal.
This is a free event with no registration required. Social Time begins at 6:00pm CST, and the conversation runs from 6:30 – 7:30pm. To register go to https://www.
