Sonya Huber will read and answer questions online. She has published 8 books, including Love & Industry, Voice First: A Writer’s Manifesto, and her award-winning Pain Woman Takes You Keys, an essay collection on chronic pain. Ms. Huber’s work has been published in literary journals and magazines including The New York Times, Creative Nonfiction, Brevity, Fourth Genre, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and the Washington Post Magazine. Have you ever thought about sleeping outside in frigid temperatures? This is the reality for those experiencing unsheltered homelessness during the winter months. The freezing weather brings challenging conditions and creates a high risk of developing life-threatening conditions such as frostbite and hypothermia. To increase the awareness and understanding of those experiencing homelessness during the wintertime, Matt Talbot will be holding its second Shine the Light Walk on Sunday, December 8th at Antelope Park at 6 pm. It’s the Holiday Season and Larksong Writers Place has a gift for writers. Presenting the 5th Annual Reading and Speed Writing Holiday Party. This year we're expanding the genres of both readings and workshops to include performance poetry and romance writing, as well as fiction, memoir, and poetry. Larksong Writers Place will present an online course on memoir writing taught by Steve Edwards, author of Breaking Into Back Country.
