KZUM and “How’s It Growin?” present the new season of the live workshop series, Garden Talks and Nature Walks, kicking off on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to noon with a guided nature hike of Wilderness Park.
Hikers can meet at the Saltillo Road parking lot, just west of 27th and Saltillo.
Welcome spring and join “How’s It Growin’?” hosts Bob Henrickson & Bertine Loop on a guided nature hike in Wilderness Park to learn how to identify and harvest wild plants as healthy, nutritious spring greens. Do it for the exercise and a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city in this beautiful area of Wilderness Park — a place that often gets overlooked by visitors.
