If 2020 could be summed up in one word, that word would be “unprecedented.” KZUM has been very lucky to keep our operations uninterrupted during this pandemic. That is largely due to our generous donors who have made contributions to keep KZUM’s dial warm all year.
Now, as we near the end of our 2020 fiscal year, we ask you for a donation to support your community radio station. Your contribution will not only ensure that KZUM can still provide vital resources and awesome music but will also help to secure a very important grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. We are required to raise $300,000 locally, every year in order to receive this grant that amounts to about 20% of our annual budget.
We know that you might not be able to give an amount that you normally would. This current pandemic has made us all live a little more lean. However, every amount not only helps KZUM do this important work, it gets us closer to receiving that grant.
