“Be You, Be Heard,” is a new original KZUM Studios podcast, in partnership with Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.
Hosted and produced by Renae Ninneman, the podcast aims to elevate girls’ voices and gets a window into their unique paths to leadership. Each episode will feature one or two featured stories about girls and the people that are helping them to grow in courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place.

In the first episode, below, you can listen to the inspiring story of Maysaa, a Lincoln Girl Scout pursuing her Gold Award through a project planting trees at the local Yazidi cemetery. And a troop of 6th grade girls get creative and experiment with video and humor for their Bronze Award.
