FoodStock returned for its second year on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Bay, hosted by Spreetail, Food Bank of Lincoln and The Bay to help stock up The Bay with the goal of raising money for the food bank and The Bay.
This event was created to help the Lincoln community come together and help each other out. The money raised will go toward helping the Food Bank of Lincoln and help the Bay establish a specific fund for the All-Access Pass program. The All-Access Pass allows for free entry to the skate park, a digital art space, a mentor through Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as a meal from the coffee bar. The Bay is able to distribute over 100 All-Access Passes to at-risk youth in the Lincoln Public School system with the help of social workers and counselors.
