Support KZUM through May 31 for Give to Lincoln Day

Give to Lincoln Day is Thursday, May 31, 2018, but you can donate early to support KZUM and all the other great organizations you care about in Lincoln.

The annual giving event is conducted by the Lincoln Community Foundation with business partners in the community. Nearly 400 local nonprofits will participate as the day aims to set a record for citywide giving again in 2018. Every donation made in the month of May through GivetoLincoln.com will help nonprofits to a larger share of the matching funds pool.

That’s the beauty of Give to Lincoln Day and the generosity of the Lincoln Community Foundation and its partners. Every dollar raised this month goes further for the organizations that are helping to make Lincoln a great place to live. Each nonprofit will receive a proportional share of the $400,000 funds, based on how much money they raise. For example, if KZUM raises $40,000 and that ends up being 1.5 percent of the total money raised for all nonprofits during Give to Lincoln Day, KZUM will also receive 1.5 percent of the $400,000 pool — an additional $6,000!

Your money really does do more in May with Give to Lincoln Day. KZUM’s fund drive is coming May 25-31, but you can support the station now and still have your contribution count toward our Give to Lincoln total. Plus, you’ll still receive all of the great thank you gifts that we’ll offer during the fund drive.
