Tour de Brew LNK is kicking off their first 2018 bike ride and pub crawl at Moran’s Liquor Works, 3400 A St., from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Participants must register to ride from 4:30 to 6 p.m. with a $5 donation to the charity of the month, CASA for Lancaster County, while enjoying free samples at Moran’s. The second stop is Cycle Works for beer and raffle ticket collection, from 4:45 to 6:45 p.m. The third stop is subject to personal preference at one of the “Friends of Tour de Brew LNK” stops for food. Finally, the ride will regroup at Empyrean Brewing Company’s warehouse, 726 L Street for the final raffle ticket and drawing which starts at 9 p.m. Beer will be served from 6 to 10 p.m.
Tour de Brew LNK has been hosting bike rides since 2014. They plan an event for every month, weather-permitting, to recognize various local breweries and charities. Past features include Empyrean Brewing, Zipline Brewing, GIRLPowr, and Fresh Start. Events typically run with approximately 100 riders to raise over $1,000 for the charities.
