This year marks the fifth year of the Skate Art Music Festival at The Bay. The free and family-friendly event will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This year welcomes the pro-skater Ryan Sheckler and The Sheckler Foundation to the annual gathering which will make it an unforgettable day.

The Metal Inquisitionh will be held Sept. 28 at Gray’s Keg located at 104 N 20th Street starting at noon until 2 a.m. The event is held by The Metal Manifesto which is a weekly radio show, playing metal of all styles and genres, that airs on KZUM every Friday night and Saturday morning from midnight to 3 a.m.
Over the past 16 years, Lincoln Calling has grown, and Lincoln along with it. 2019 marked one of the largest festivals yet, with over 80 bands performing over a span of three days, four venues and two outdoor stages. Headliners this year included Freakabout, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Soccer Mommy and many more.
The annual Harvest Moon Festival is an event celebrating Asian culture with live music and dancers. It will be held Sunday, Sept. 22 at Antelope Park Bandshell.
Every Summer, KZUM’s How’s It Growin’? features a series of events called the Nature Walks and Garden Talks series. This Summer, the series featured a tour of Sunken Gardens and a Local Farm Tour. The 2019 series concludes this Saturday with A Celebration of Herbs at the Lincoln Community Foundation Gardens.
