Every Summer, KZUM’s How’s It Growin’? features a series of events called the Nature Walks and Garden Talks series. This Summer, the series featured a tour of Sunken Gardens and a Local Farm Tour. The 2019 series concludes this Saturday with A Celebration of Herbs at the Lincoln Community Foundation Gardens.
Held during Lincoln Calling at the Lincoln Community Foundation Gardens, the talk and potluck will focus on how to use homegrown herbs for culinary uses, herbal healing and harvesting for meal planning.
On Saturday, July 27, members of the community will have the opportunity to learn more about the obstacles and triumphs local farmers experience during growing process as well as the manner of how they grow on the Local Farm Tour presented by “How’s it Growin'?”
