KZUM’s How’s It Growin – Garden Walks and Nature Talks series continues on Saturday, May 19th when KZUM and the Southern Heights Food Forest present: “The Hills Are Alive” – a soil building workshop from 10 a.m. to noon at the Southern Heights Food Forest, at 40th and Old Cheney.
How’s It Growin’s Bob Henrickson will host a number of experts who will show you how to create raised beds and improve soil fertility and water retention using techniques like hugelkultur and mushroom blocks.
