This Saturday, The Bourbon Theatre will host Christmas Vacation Fest 2019. This is a two-stage, nine-band event with a “Hawaiian Shirt Contest” and Santa photo booth.
Radiant Bones played their final show of 2019 at Bodega's Alley on Saturday. They played this show with their friends After Arizona and Kearney-based Stone The Thrones. There are a few photos from that concert available here.
American Idol Winner, Laine Hardy, was in town to play a show at the Bourbon Theatre. The Season 17 winner played the venue with the support of Country Musician Chris Bandi. We were on the scene and have photos available here.
The Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been utilized to ask the public to show financial support to their favorite local (or national) nonprofits; this tradition is called Giving Tuesday. KZUM operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) radio station. As a nonprofit, KZUM is a candidate for Giving Tuesday.

Basement Creators Network is a live stream concert series, free for local Nebraska and touring artists to get their music out to the public. During live streams viewers are able to leave tips, comments and questions for the band making BCN a music discovery platform.
We were able to briefly attend the Pigeons Playing Ping Pong show at The Bourbon Theatre. We have some photos of that show here.
The Commonwealth podcast released its first episode the in September. Each new episode has been released every Monday since and can be heard on KZUM.org. The Commonwealth focuses on entrepreneurs, artists and athletes who are leading disruptive change.
